From the very beginning, Greenville Community Church has been a church for the newcomer, open to the community, and welcoming to all. This heritage of hospitality and diversity lives on today.
GCC is a local expression of our denomination, the Reformed Church in America, which dates back to 1628. Our church is governed by a consistory, which is made up of the minister, four elders and four deacons. They adhere to the denomination’s Book of Church Order and a set of Standing Rules specific to our context. All members are eligible to serve on consistory.
