Greenville  Community Church proudly presents a fun and popular annual event: soprano Manami Hattori-Fallen with guest tenor Sean Fallen plus two new performers, Maki Yoneta, a classical pianist, and Jackie M. Hayes, a mezzo soprano.

The concert will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 4:00 p.m, featuring “a Multitude of Flowers” as a theme. Children are very welcome, so please don’t hesitate to bring them.  This concert will include songs and opera scenes that express the theme of flowers.

We invite the audience to decorate the place with flowers during the concert, so it will be filled with flowers by the end of the concert!

We will also offer rose tea with flower macarons and Japanese sweets just for $5! But if interested please reserve in advance.

This event will be held in the sanctuary of Greenville Community Church, located at 270 Ardsley Road, Scarsdale, New York. Admission is a $25 suggested donation, which would be greatly appreciated by those who can in order to help the church continue this great recital series tradition.

Ms. Hattori's flower is designed by Aya Omukai who was one of the design team members on Disney's "Frozen!"

５月５日の４時から、NYのスカースデールの緑の美しい教会
Greenville Community Church, 270 Ardsley Road, Scarsdale, New Yorkで、とりおこなわれる。

今年のテーマは『百花繚乱』開場を観客と共にテーマに沿った色々な歌と花で埋め尽くし、五感（耳、目、舌、鼻、体）をフルに使って楽しもうという試み。

プログラムは、第一部は花に関する芸術歌曲で構成、有名なシューベルトの野バラ、モーツアルトのスミレ、他にベルリオーズ、山田耕筰、中田喜直、その他、録音もない、珍しい花の歌曲を織り交ぜ、華やかに演奏する。第2部はオペラから、花が織りなす、人間模様を有名なラクメの花の２重唱を含むプログラムで探る。

休憩時間には、香り豊かな、ローズティーとこのコンサートの為に
特別にオーダーされた、本場のパリのフレンチペイストリーシェフ中西氏による花マカロン（フレールデュマカロン）がサーブされる。こちらは＄５で要予約。

衣装はディズニー新作ミュージカルフローズンを担当したAya Omukaiが担当。花畑のようなドレスは必見！

観客が参加型で、あらかじめ用意された花を思い思いに会場に飾るという試みもあり。

開場までは、メトロノースが便利、スカースデール駅で下車。
車での送迎あり、こちらもチケット予約の際に申し込み必要。
